JUDY HUSTON – Berkeley/Orinda, California
Judy is an ordained United Church of Christ minister and California licensed Marriage and Family therapist, and for twenty years she has been practicing and teaching in numerous settings. Currently, in addition to sitting and being with psychotherapy clients in her Orinda office and assisting them in embracing their whole deep Self in life and love, she is a pastoral counselor for a church in Berkeley and offers ongoing meditation circles for women which include Deep River principles and practices.

Kathleen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is also licensed as an addictions counselor. In addition Kathleen is a reiki master. Kathy is a clinical social worker with over fifteen years experience working with children, adults and families; she has been an individual psycho-therapist and an emergency service clinician working in local hospitals and schools. She has trained with Abby Seixas in the Deep River program as well as the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program at UMMC. She is drawn to working with women in group to awaken inner wisdom and empowerment.
Leslie Ackles - Concord, MA
Leslie A. Ackles is director of the University of Massachusetts Donahue Institute Organizational Development and Training Group and she is also a work/life balance coach. Leslie recently completed the University of Massachusetts Medical School Mindfulness Stress Reduction Program. She is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Leslie received a Masters degree in educational administration from Harvard University. She also has a BA in human development from University of California, Davis. Leslie has been passionate about the issue of work/life balance since she became a working mother in 1985. She negotiated a balanced work schedule and has since assisted many women in creating that balance between home and work life. Leslie was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2003. She has worked to eliminate her own symptoms through melding the mind, body, spirit practices of yoga, breath work, mindfulness, exercise, rest and diet. Through this work she has found inner quiet and presence. She was awakened to her body’s natural wisdom and is now working with others to find the same inner peace, to find their inner oasis.
Bonnie Petrovich, M.Ed. Devens, MA
Bonnie is a coach and facilitator with extensive background in working with individuals and groups mostly in business settings. She has also run women’s empowerment circles and groups for single moms. Her Master’s of Education is in Counseling Psychology from Cambridge College, and she brings perspectives from her studies of Psychosynthesis, Gestalt, Eckhart Tolle, and the Abraham teachings to her work. Currently Bonnie has her own coaching and business consulting practice west of Boston -- particularly enjoying supporting entrepreneurs and those in career transitions to have more of the lives and businesses they desire.
Pam Swing, Concord, MA
Pam is an artist whose work is grounded in a practice of awareness and stillness. She is deeply interested in exploring how we access and sustain creativity. Her workshops provide a contemplative yet exuberant environment in which creative sparks and gentle intuitive nudges can be recognized and nurtured. She trained with Abby Seixas as a facilitator, and finds the Deep River process flows like an underground river through her work. She is also a certified SoulCollage® facilitator. In the summer, she holds retreats based at Blue Moon Yurt, her home in Tenants Harbor, ME as well as other Maine locations. She has served on the board and staff of Greenfire Women’s Retreat and has a PhD in Folklore and Anthropology. She is currently writing a book about the stones in her life.

Marianela Medrano-Marra - Naugatuck, CT
Marianela Medrano-Marra is a Dominican writer and licensed professional counselor with a PhD in psychology. She offers workshops and readings in various venues in Connecticut and other parts of the country. In her workshops, she combines literature, psychology, and her research on the Sacred Feminine to help others find new ways of knowing the wholeness of being human.

Anna Coffman, RN, BSN, CHPN - Corvallis, OR
Anna Coffman discovered the Deep River work many years ago, at a time when she was trying to balance different roles in her life, including those of software engineer, mother of three teenagers, new wife, and nursing student.
She has since become a certified hospice nurse, and trained wilderness rites of passage guide. Anna draws on her training and experience in both of these fields, as well as her life experiences and longtime meditation practice, to offer a variety of workshops, groups, and wilderness programs.
